By installing and using Free Shipping Bar, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

When you install Free Shipping Bar, we collect and store the following information:

• Shop information — your Shopify store domain and access tokens required to operate the app
• App settings — your configured free shipping threshold, progress messages, success messages, and bar color preferences
• Billing information — subscription plan status (managed entirely by Shopify's billing system)

We do not collect any personal information about your customers. The app reads cart totals directly in the browser without sending data to our servers.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide and operate the Free Shipping Bar functionality on your store
• Save and sync your app settings across sessions
• Process billing and subscription management through Shopify
• Provide customer support when requested

4. Data Storage

Your shop settings are stored securely on our servers hosted on Railway (railway.app). We use industry-standard security practices to protect your data.

We retain your data for as long as you have the app installed. When you uninstall the app, your data is deleted within 48 hours.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your information with third parties, except:

• Shopify — as required to operate as a Shopify app (subject to Shopify's Privacy Policy)
• Railway — our hosting provider for app infrastructure

6. Shopify API Access

Free Shipping Bar requests the following Shopify API permissions:

• write_products — to read product information for shipping calculations
• write_metaobjects — to store app configuration data
• write_metaobject_definitions — to define app data structures

7. Customer Data

Free Shipping Bar does not collect, store, or process any personal data belonging to your store's customers. Cart total calculations happen entirely within the customer's browser.

8. Cookies

The app does not use cookies to track customers. The app embed runs entirely client-side using JavaScript.

You have the right to:

• Request a copy of the data we hold about your store
• Request deletion of your data by uninstalling the app
• Contact us with any privacy concerns
